New Partnerships with Top Global Middleware Provider Adds New Capabilities in IPTV and OTT Services to the Dune HD Product Line
Las Vegas, April 16, 2012 – Dune HD, GmbH, maker of high quality, high performance digital media players, and Beenius, a top interactive TV solution provider for service operators, announced today at the NAB Show 2012 a new partnership to bring the Beesmart based Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) and over-the-top (OTT) services to Dune HD media players. Dune HD will demonstrate the Beesmart interface and capabilities at the NAB Show this week, and customer availability is expected in the first half of 2012.
Beesmart will bring Dune HD devices an ultra fast user interface, intelligent content recommendation system, home media sharing and OTT content support. The Beesmart Middleware integrates advanced video sub-systems and delivers powerful services through an attractive TV user interface. With Beesmart integration, Dune HD devices will have options for expanded live and on-demand TV content, DVR capabilities, target advertising, tames, chat and more.
