Is Smart TV smart enough?!

Some say that Smart TVs are the future in TV industry – no need for STBs, just IP connectivity or DVB signal and Smart TV takes care for Live TV and other interactive features. But are they right?

Why are smart phones and tables the future?
Video on demand is what people want. Instead of shipping expensive STBs, providers want people to use second screen devices to find content, based on friend’s opinions. But are Smart TVs smart enough to satisfy users with contain features?

Beenius presented BeeSocial TV application for Android devices, which enable users to stay connected with their Facebook friends, follow tweets and discuss TV content and recommend movies or series via social media networks while watching TV.

Beenius also presented Beesmart Smart TV App for Samsung Smart TVs at this year’s TV Connect in London and it was a great success.  That’s why, Beenius is not resting and in 2013 is set to develop Smart TV apps compatible for more smart device.
