BeeSmart has once again released a new feature that will impress TV operators as well as their customers. Pay attention to the Widget Store, which is included in the recent BeeSmart 4.0. Using Widget Store TV operators can finally break free and start offering their own selection of apps right on the TV screens of their custom ers.
Through Widget Store, operators are able to offer free or payable TV widgets to their customers and thus, we believe, effectively increase their revenue. By default Widget Store offers a selection of items, for example Weather, RSS Feed, Twitter, Facebook, News, etc. TV operators are able to easily extend the Widget Store with new widgets and thus make their service more appealing. Using widgets while watching TV, end-users are able to check the weather forecast, twit about interesting things, read RSS feeds and much more. Who would not want to socialize with their closest friend while watching TV? Yes, now offering a unique selection of widgets straight to your customers is possible with the new Widget Store in BeeSmart 4.0.
TV operators also have the ability to develop their own applications using BeeSDK and OpenAPI. That way they can bring their ideas closer and quicker to the market.
