This week one of the most popular decisions ever made by European Parliament has received a green light. It is official now that with 15 June 2017 mobile operators won`t be able to charge extra roaming costs to users while traveling to EU countries. This basically means you will be charged as in your own country for calls, SMS sent and most important, data while using internet.

Prior to the full ban of roaming an interim cap on charges will take effect from 30 April 2016. Interim cap will allow operators to surcharge of no more than €0.05 extra per minute for calls, €0.02 extra per SMS sent and €0.05 extra per megabyte of data used.

This long-awaited move to scrap EU mobile roaming charges is a huge boost to Beenius`s view of the future, where offering TV content is available anytime, anywhere and on every device without any limitations.
