But Cable is now offering more and more hotspots in the cities around the world. The Heavy Reading report also points out, however, that cable operators face numerous technical and operational challenges in extending their Wi-Fi reach further. “Wi-Fi has given cable a vital entry point into wireless,” said Craig Leddy, a Heavy Reading contributing analyst.
